Great news in the autism world!

Duke University researchers are highlighting the importance of caregiver involvement in interventions targeted for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In pilot work, they are seeing greater gains when caregivers can continue the intervention work at home.  Why is this update great news? When parents and caregivers are empowered to help their children, the whole family benefits. While this model of providing early intervention training is currently being tested in areas where families have less access to direct services, the trend towards teaching families how to be involved is picking up steam. What does CLEAR Child think? We’ve heard time and time again from parents who are frustrated that they don’t know what to do next, that they don’t know how to help their child. Research like this pilot study provides further support that teaching caregivers will improve the quality of life for the child… and the adult too! At CLEAR Child, we champion caregivers and believe you are your child’s number one advocate. We believe parents and caregivers deserve to know how to help their children, and we make that information accessible and easily understandable. Our unique patent-pending assessment system provides customized recommendations so you know concrete steps to take at home and at school. That’s a win-win! Click here to read the research update
