Social Presence
Andrew sits away from the rest of the preschool class. The others are listening to a book while a teacher reads. They are pointing to pictures and commenting. Andrew is sitting in a quiet part of the classroom using a mini-computer that teaches the ABCs. He smiles at the graphics. If another child approaches Andrew, he may scream or push the child away.
